Redh in Haslemere, Surrey, (Real English Drinks House) is thrilled to introduce our head chef, Jack Cherriman. With our bar and café up and running with the best English drinks, including craft beers, artisan spirits and English sparkling wines, we turned our thoughts to our food offerings. We were lucky enough to find a chef with a wealth of expertise and experience, bags of enthusiasm, and a wonderful ever-changing hair colour.
Jack comes to us from Joanna’s Boutique Tearoom in Storrington, where he was known for his incredible afternoon teas and patisserie. Before that he worked in 5-star hotel South Lodge, working with Michelin -starred Matt Gillan. He learnt his craft alongside Masterchef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards, and was a finalist in the Junior Masterchef regionals himself.
Jack says: 'I am excited to be part of Redh and join them in creating high quality, locally produced food. I love to see the joy good food and a great customer experience brings to people. Experimenting with new cooking techniques and flavours is really important to me, and this is just the start of the Redh journey. Watch this space...'

With Jack at the helm we have set up 'The Kitchen at Redh', now open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals as well as afternoon teas. We have a new menu packed with delicious options, including full English breakfasts, lunchtime sliders, vegan wraps and rosemary-salted chips, plus evening bar snacks such as buffalo chicken wings.
