English Spirit - Old Salt Rum
The first commercially produced rum in the UK: no salt added, only Black Strap molasses, as opposed to sugar cane syrup, as a base, which is very tricky and less profitable, but absolutely worth the effort. English Spirit then distills three times to grab the quintessential flavour of rum: vanilla, raisins, cracked caramel, Christmas cake, and a touch of banoffee pie. Matured in French oak casks. Serve neat, or with ginger beer, ice and a chunk of lime. Drink neat or with a chunk of ice. Makes a gorgeous Mojito.
